Appliance Service Technician
NORMAL DAY-TO-DAY DUTIES
Appliance Repair Technicians are responsible for the repair of major home appliances in the customer’s home. This is a mobile, on the road position. Products repaired include the following home appliances: Washers, Dryers, Stoves, Microwaves, Disposers, Refrigerators, and other home appliances. This position provides timely and quality repairs of customers’ appliances while maintaining extremely high levels of customer service. Eight to twelve service calls are dispatched each day using technology, You report daily to our office in Roseville, MI. You start your route from the shop and take your provided work vehicle home. You will be dispatched to any city in our service territory, Macomb County. We are seeking candidates living in our service area. We work Monday through Friday, weekends off.

If you have no experience in the trade, please do not let that deter you if you meet the qualifications below. If you are willing to learn the trade, we will teach you. Online technical courses with industry's top trainers at Fred's Appliance Academy and In The Field with our very own service technicians.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Exceptional Driving Record
Internet / Computer Skills
18+ Years of Age
Technical Aptitude or Strong Desire to Learn
Your Own General Hand Tools
Ability to lift 50 lbs daily, and maneuver up to 250 lbs occasionally
Obtain Freds Academy Certificate
Obtain CFC Certification (Refrigerant Recovery License)
